What If?

If the was no cable networking, the media we get would mostly be very bias. Individuals would be running what we take in that might have a strong opinion on something and try to sway us the way they want us to think. For instance, someone could personally be running a newspaper and a story about a 25 year old charged with murder could be one of the topics. If the person running the newspaper thought that the man is innocent, he could write the article about how the it was self-defense and how he had to do it so save his own life and portray him in a good light to try and sway the public into thinking he is innocent. In contrary, if he thought that the man was guilty, he could say how brutally he killed the victim and how the victim was a single mom with 9 kids and was working 5 jobs to support them. The news could become completely opinion rather than fact. I know there are some cable network that seem to father one side over the other (such as some news stations that lean towards conservative or liberal during elections), but the media would be completely left or right wing towards news if there was no cable networking.

The media would get out of control without cable network so I’m thankful that we have it.
